Ethos

We believe in a value-based education in which our students will be equipped to carry Indian culture and values into the international community of the 21st century..

Here at EGS we put a great emphasis on the relationships between students, teachers and parents. These relationships are conducted around the values of mutual respect and self-discipline. The personal development of each student is monitored and kept in check through daily meetings in school assembly and when needed, one on one support and guidance from the student’s teacher.

We are confident that leading by example will allow our students to develop their own values of respect and self-discipline. The authoritarian methods of yesterday have no place in EGS. We believe that out-dated authoritarian measures will produce students who work and respond only out of fear of reprisal. We must be progressive and liberal in our approach if we want to develop the individual critical thinkers that will lead our country tomorrow.
